An uninterrupted recital of the whole Shri Ram Charitra Manas for 24 hours without interruption is part of the Ramayan Path practise There are seven kaands in all, which are all named in the passage: Baalkand, Ayodhyakand, Aranyakand, Kishkindhakand, Sundarkand, Lankakand, and Uttarkand.
